The complement of hammers used at Larson to infuse strength and integrity of materials into every part will accommodate any forging job. They range in size from 2,500 to 10,000-lbs. In addition, we have computer-controlled hydraulic presses – 1,000-ton to 3,000-ton – that
offer increased production flexibility.

Our ring rolling technology allows us to manufacture rings to close tolerances in less time. Ring rollers and expanders are fully computerized with the latest electronics and hydraulics, and are designed to Larson Forgings’ specifications with capacities up to 60" O.D. and a 12" face.

Our metals preparation equipment includes band saws, abrasive cut-off saws and carbide circular saws that are all part of our complete on-site operation. This part of our production results in a more efficient work flow, better scheduling and faster delivery that ensures your client demands are met on time, every time.
To handle your most critical specifications, Larson’s bank of furnaces is computer-controlled. Annealing, normalizing, hardening, tempering and aging are all part of our in-house NADCAP-accredited heat-treating capabilities. At the same time, our quenching operations can utilize polymer based or water methods to achieve the most stringent specification requirements.
Among our in-house specialty shops is a full-service machining operation capable of taking your job to the point where it is ready for final finishing. As an added service, we will deliver a machined product and NDT to your finished print requirements, if desired.
